Fault 2942-004 Glow Plug 1 Idle Speed
While stuck in traffic today, the pre-glow indicator came in, and shortly after a check engine.
Pulled codes, and it's 2942-004 Glow Plug 1 Idle speed
I believe that the CDI control unit *may* at times request glow plug activation to add engine load during a regeneration cycle.
Anyway, the guided test has me checking continuity at the glow plug controller, but I am not sure about the symbols used to indicate things in the instructions.
Can someone look at the attached screenshot , and tell me which pins to sink the probe leads in to? If the answer is "It doesn't tell you, go look at the wiring diagram" just let me know, and I'll look up the diagram myself.
