gased it, and won't move "help"

I have mentioned this before guys, but I will try again. When ever I am on the freeway or streets and I decide to floor it (gas to the floor) punch it, whatever they call it. The benz stalls and does not go anywhere, even while holding or pumping the gas pedal to the floor. this happens for sometimes 5-8 seconds, and than power restores and off she goes.

Could this be the CPS?

Their are no code on my car, so I'm puzzled, this happens on the freeway when i am getting on the freeway and than gas it hard to increase speed, than it coast with no power and scares the living hell out of me or when another car is tailing me and i gas it to move over and the same thing again.

somebody got to know the answer. Thanks

The problem is not as simple as you think that system is complicated, but it sure aint the CPS. Spend some money on a good scan or have you kids drive you around!!

Not CPS for sure. Does sound like accelerator related. Do you press that small button under the pedal? What I mean by that when you press the pedal hard enough you can feel it. That point throws accelerator to WOT (wide open throttle) and kicks the transmission in lowest gear possible.
