W211 Suspension Error Code (A9/1y1)
I noticed a while ago that my Merc's suspension is bad. When it's parked for few days, it goes all the way down at the rear. I took it to Mercedes to diagnose and they said I need to change both rear airbags. They also said we need to change the air compressor because it's stressed and it's noisy.
I went and bought both airbags and compressor. I got a Auto Mech guy to change the airbags for me and I changed the compressor myself. The car looks fine for few days but still showing the Suspension Error message on the screen.
I checked with DAS and found this error code.
5350 A9/1y1 (AIRmatic pressure release valve): Open Circuit.
What does this means or what did I missed when I was changing the compressor.
Thanks for you help.

I wouldn't have replaced the compressor just because someone said it's "noisy" and "stressed". If it works, don't fix it. But since you already replaced it, you should be good to go for another 100k miles or so.
