E320 CDI whirring noise from A/C
Anyway, the whirring noise is really random, meaning that sometimes it's on and sometimes it's not. Mainly it comes on when hitting a road bump or similar upward motion of the car because of the road (this can also make it go away). The whirring stops if I press the A/C off, but it also stops when I manually put more speed to A/C (like setting 4,5 or 6 on a 1-6 scale), so it mainly is on when A/C's on lower speed setting or auto setting.
It's also definitely dependant on the rpm, but only in motion. I just tried revving the engine with different settings on the a/c and could not reproduce the effect, although just a moment ago the noise was there when driving the car.
This is a mystery to me and I'd really appreciate any help on what to check next or in a good luck if someone knows the exact problem based on the symptoms. I have SDS, but it shows nothing out of the ordinary.

I replaced mine a few years ago as it would whine a bit, espically when cornering. It is an easy install took 30 min its located behind the glove box if I recall. There are DIYs for this fix on several forums.
