Do you have an active Ipod connection?
If yes than you have to remove the command, on the back you will see a single plug un-plug it. That's the Ipod connection for the audio. The AUX plug should be disconnected behind the radio. Find that plug & plug into the port you just disconnected the first plug from. That's it. the AUX will work now.
