Can you track your car during assembly and shipment?
Just curious becuase with my BMW I could keep track of the assembly right over the internet! And shipment to. This would be a great feature for MB.

I think it's always some sort of double dark secret for fear of the proliferation of information which MB is known to control to the death. My 03' never showed on any tracking, no one at the dealership had a clue. They never knew where the car was after it was built ( which they did know had been done) until it rolled off the truck into their lot.
I suspect the 04' will be the same way. Others have had differing experiances. Go figure. When I asked about my car, I get a blank stare. They contend that the German MB guys don't trust the USA MB guys with any information. May explain why we all get such wildly differing experiances.
