Windshiel Wiper and Water Sprayer Pump not Working

The windshield wiper of my 2003 E500 with less than 60K miles is not working and neither is the water sprayer pump. Any clue as to where is the fuse for both is located. Your help will be greatly appreciated as I live in a very rainy area of the USA

Check f56 (40A) for wiper motor - front SAM in engine compartment. If fine, “may” be steering column combination switch.

Thanks so much for your reply and suggestion, I have tried both with no success. First I did replace the fuse F56 (40A) and it did not work and then I replaced the windshield wiper turn signal switch with a used one that I bought on ebay. So far no luck.

Is auto on/off driving lights feature functioning properly? If not, rain/light sensor (located center windshield) may need adaptation using SDS: Control Units - Body - OCP (overhead control panel) - Control unit adaptations - Rain/light sensor - Parameterization and windshield adaptation.

If on/off feature is fine try this
- engine running and all passenger doors closed, starting at 0 turn on wipers to 3
- put switch in the 0 position
- put switch in 1 (rain sensor position)
- have someone splash water on the windshield (doors have to be closed to reset)

If auto on/off is fine and reset fails best bet is to check for fault codes with SDS.

Windshiel Wiper and Water Sprayer Pump not Working

I've tried everything, I even purchased a Voltmeter to check if power was making it to the windshield wiper motor and it was, so i am assuming that the motor is gone and will replace it, same with the windshield wiper pump. Who knows, maybe after 10 years they decided to both die at the same time. Any idea where is the windshield wiper pump located, I am assuming it is under the passenger side wheel well, but i am not sure. Thanks in advance for all your help.

I just replaced the windshield wiper motor which I purchased on ebay for $55 and it works, however I am still trying to figure out how to replace the windshield wiper water pump. It appears that it is located n the passenger"s side under the wheel well. However i would appreciate detailed instructions as I do not want to damage the car..
