Hello,
My 2004 E320 has recently had a strange problem with starting. When I try to start the engine, all of the dashboard lights will come on as usual, but the starter will not crank. No crank noise at all. I turn key off then try again two or three times, and finally the engine will start normally.
This has just started happening in the last month or so. Is this a common problem? Could it be the battery?
I read a similar post but it never said what was done to fix the problem.
