How to hear iPhone music through car speakers?

Hi all,

I must have read at least three or four posts here on this topic but the cars were not 2004 or the phones were not the same so I thought I'd open this topic and ask.

I have an iPhone 4S and a 2004 Mercedes Benz E320. Is there any way that I could connect my phone to my car stereo system and hear the music playing on the speakers?

As a part of my research on this forum, I learned that all the E class cars made after 2000 have Bluetooth capability so is there any way that I could possibly get some info on how to make this dream come through?

Thanksin advance

'04 can't stream music via bluetooth, but it might have an aux cord plug in the glove box. Do a search on here because I'm pretty sure this has been asked and answered a few times so you will probably get more and better information.

This.

When you open your glove box, there should be a small AUX outlet (left side I believe) that you can plug an AUX cord into, then to your headphone jack on your iPhone.

While the W211 does not have iPhone music streaming, the AUX jack in the glove box is a perfect place to put a small bluetooth-to-aux device. I use the GOgroove BlueGate Bluetooth Adapter. It is wonderfully small and light and just plugs in. I am still looking into how to keep it powered (I have not yet taken the glove box apart to get at some power). The adapter has a rechargeable and lasts a reasonable amount of time. I then can charge it in the "ash tray" with a low profile usb power adapter that lets me close the cover of the ash tray.

This lets me stream music via bluetooth (AUX on the COMAND) and still get bluetooth phone calls via the bluetooth puck.
