- Mercedes Benz E Class AMG: How to Install lowering springs
Step by step instructions for do-it-yourself repairs
H&R lowering springs, how to cut?
That's a really cool feature to have especially since it can be had aftermarket. Maybe if I come across a duffle bag with $5000 I'd splurg on this set up.

Excellent, with up to 2" drop and a spring / shock combo that was designed to work with one another. I think I may have found my own future set up.
Yeah I did like having coilovers in my last vehicle for the option to change ride height any given time, but it was more than 2x's the cost of the standard spring/shock combo offered. Keep us updated with any you consider going with, you may change my mind on dishing out more $$$.
Anyway, I started the post thinking I can easily cut the spring without any BIG issue or something. i was thinking since Im going to replace the front and rear rotors and pads in a couple of weeks. I was hoping I could cut the springs while im at it. but, it looks like a no go for now. i may just leave it as it is until I go for the coilovers or the B12 combo as you suggested.
w211's dont have different front spring pads for some reason. I already have H&R lowering springs and its been on my car for 7mos now.
but yeah, cutting is a no go for now.
