California ’04 E500 Pricing
I am a new forum member and plan to purchase an ’04 E500 (Tectite & Ash) with the appearance and premium packages. I have searched the forum and have found that some members have received pretty good discounts (DKSNY - $500 over Invoice, RKSharma - $3500 below MSRP, richard2725 - $3000 below MSRP, LIONHEAD - $2700 below MSRP) on ’04 E500’ s.
I heard that California car sales are down significantly due to the hike in DMV fees. Are there any forum members that know of MB dealers in California offering similar discounts ? I appreciate any guidance or insight that you may be able to provide. Thanks.

I got my car from MarcusBenz on this forum and he gave me a great deal, I would definitely contact him and I'm an out of state buyer so he is going to ship it to me also...
BTW, my car is at the VPC, next Friday, I'm going to fly to LA to check out and pay for the car, and then it'll be shipped to me in TX. 1 more week before I can touch the car...

My first post!
I just ordered my E500 last week and my dealer snagged one that was on the boat that should have arrived in LB yesterday. Anyway, E500s are in short supply and go for very close to sticker. I called around and that's the response I'm getting from all NorCal MB dealers.

Congrats Takeshi. There are discounts to be had, you just need to search. Where in Norcal are you located, which dealership are you getting it from? What color (exterior/interior) are you getting?

I think supply is pretty good in SoCal. When we got our E320, the dealer pretty much straight up offered $1000 under invoice. That was a pretty good deal so we basically just went looking for the car in the colors and options we wanted. I think the E500 was going at invoice. I can't really imagine anything that's happened recently to have made the 04s less of a deal.
