Bluetooth Puck - always on
I have had a Bluetooth puck, p/n B67875855, installed and working in a 2004 E500 for several years. A few months ago I noticed that my cell phone was still connected to my car. It had been several hours since I was last in my car, and no one else had opened a door. I then started having problems with my car battery, and would get the “Convenience Functions Temporarily Unavailable” warning in the morning, but it would go away within several minutes. Replaced the battery – it was original – a few months ago, and problem recently returned. The puck flashes slowly constantly after disconnecting – hours after the car has went to “sleep.” The puck did not flash when the car was off until recently, and the phone previously would disconnect once I got a little distance away from the car or a few minutes after I would get out. I could then talk as normal. Now, if Bluetooth is enabled on my phone, it will connect the phone with the car in the garage. I have had the phone for a couple of years, so there have been no new changes to the system, and everything worked fine until recently. Is there a way to reset the puck?
