Best solution for AUX with Audio 50 APS

Hi, Iam looking for the best solution for getting AUX and maybe USB and iPod for my current Audio 50 APS, im getting sick of burning cd's all the time and getting cd error and stuttering cd's.

So the available options now as I see it:

Emulate a cd-changer and getting AUX

Dension Gateway 500, USB, iPod and AUX, apparently you get the steeringwheel controls aswell if I understood right.

COMAND APS NTG1: I'll get AUX, MP3-cd, and also DVD. If I dont route cables and stuff at the back of the car I will loose the navigation.

A Dynavin or any other headunit that looks like the original, but with alot of more options, AUX, USB, iPod, memory card, navigaion etc, question is how good are these in reality?

Which option would you choose?

thanks in advance

get adapter harness, and do NTG2.5 retrofit. Will cost $1K or so for head unit.

If he has HK audio, it will be a lot more than $1K.

I'm in the same boat as the OP, except my unit doesn't have Nav so that simplifies things a bit. From what I have gathered, either it's the Dension Gateway Lite (no song/artist info displayed, it basically functions like a CD with your iPod) with the Audio 50 OR buy a Comand NTG1 and add a factory AUX/Dension Gateway 500.

If you don't have HK, then NTG2.5 isn't that expensive. I did full HK NTG2.5 retrofit, which was a ton of work.

I don' have the HK audio. So then to get the NTG2.5 its about the same work as getting the NTG1?

Where can I get the adapter harness? And do I get the NTG 2.5 from ebay aswell?
