Shaking while accelarating

hi all.
im a ne member with an issue with my 2003 e500
when accelarating at about 20mph+ the car shakes.
when i floor it or accelarate real good it does not do it.
feels and sounds like under the middle of the car.
the transmission shifts perfectly and i dont know what the issue is.
can it be a transmission or motor mount? catalitic converter? flex disc?

please help...

Its most likely the center driveshaft bearing and support, but could be the front shaft flex disc. In case of center support and bearing the complete driveshaft has to be removed and when doing so its a good idea to replace both flex disc at that time because of no additional labor. Note: exhaust has to be dropped in order to remove the driveshaft. I had exact same symptoms and did the work/fix on mine about two weeks ago. Took about two hours but I have power air wrenches which speeds up work.

did you feel shuttering from under the front of the vehicle? kinda like a misfire, on my car its really when i tap the the accelarator lightly after the car is 25mph+

The op states its felt in middle of car. If driveshaft center it will be felt in the center armrest when accelerating between approx. 15 to 25 mph. Also if felt more to front then it could be transmission rear mount. Any of these can be checked with car on lift by inspecting mount, flex disc for cracks and shaking the driveshaft by hand.

It IS hard to tell on line but it might be motor/tranny mounts also.

Did you have the driveshaft checked when the transmission mount was replaced? Did they check the two motor mounts?

Actually the car is the same after changing the tranny mount it seemed a lil better but two days later it got worse, do you think it can be the motor mounts?
