Glove Box Door & Squeaky Seatbelts
Anyone having any issues with their glove box door just falling when you open it? Feels like a spring or a tension rod is broken or something. When I open it, it just falls without any tension or resistance. Anyone know what's up with this?
Also, does anyone have squeak seatbelt issues? Anytime I have a passenger in the front seat, I get really annoying squeaky sounds, like cheap plastic sounds coming from where the seatbelt clicks in to the clicker.
So annoyed by how cheap the interior of this car is..SMH. You'd think these cars would come with a somewhat decent interior

Regrettably your glove box damper crapped out---part is 211 680 00 26----double check with your VIN
The squeak is well know on MB's---it usually winds up to be the tensioner, which is expensive.
However you can check by removing the B pillar cover and putz around by pulling on the seat belt to localize the squeak.

May simply need to reconnect shock absorber where it attaches to lid. You can either unclip side dash panel, or remove panel below glove box to access.

Could be the damper, could be where the damper hooks on. There is a plastic hook that breaker, so that the "lanyard" from the damper comes loose. That was what it was in mine-usually the fix is to re-hook the lanyard (it has a loop on the end) securely to what remains of the hook.
