Wanting to buy '04 E320 in a week - SoCal recommendations?

Hi,

We're looking to purchase a '04 E320 in a week, off the lot if possible. Can someone give a few pointers:

1. Prices over/below invoice in SoCal?
2. Dealer recommendations?
3. CA recommendations?

TIA,

Chris.

I live in TX but bought my car from SoCal. Contact MarcusBenz from this forum he is a dealer with House of Imports. Very easy to deal with and he gave me the best deal of any dealers I called and is going to ship the car to me also. He is also very knowledgeable since he is a MB enthusiast like others on the forum.

Both Simonson (Santa Monica) and Caliber Motor (Anaheim) regularly sell new E320 for $2k bellow invoice. I've known couple people getting their cars from these two dealers.

Benz of Long Beach and Laguna Niegel are known for being friendly & good services. Reasonable price too.

Avoid Fletcher Jones, Keys (the worst !!! ), Benz of Downtown LA, and 310 MotorCar.

House of Imports and the one in Simi Valley (Calabasas ? can't remmember) have mixed reviews.

Wow, $2k below? Have a name of a salesman at either dealer? I'm all over that this weekend. Hook me up.

2nd vote for MarcusBenz. He's helped me through a lot the past year with my 04 order, and my current M3 issues even. Very knowledgable and helpfull.

I would have to concur as well. MarcusBenz has been very patient with me and was very helpful in person when i went to test drive both E320 and 500.. I currently have an 04 on order with him for December delivery.

i would contact him directly since he was banned.

Sorry to hear that. I did not think he was out of line in any way.
I did not do any business with him or know him but did not see any reason to ban him.

He offered us a lot of insight into dealers and was a good contributor. Shame if he did get the boot.

If anyone wants to contact him....look him up under members and send him an email (not a private message)

Sorry to see MarcusBenz absent. I agree with what others have said regarding his knowledge, people skills and enthusiasm for MB.

Hey Modulated, my family has purchased many benz's from Simonson and I work with a great salesman (I don't get anything for referrals so don't worry). I'd pm you with the info but you don't have a pm, e-mail me & I'll give you the info.

We had a real good experience at House of Imports. Didn't buy it from Marcus but he was nice when I had some questions when we were still thinking about buying. Only negative I can think of(not a big deal tho) was that they never invited us back for dinner. Browning Dodge (Cerritos) and Shelly BMW (Buena Park, right next to House of Imports) both did. Dodge even had Olive Garden catered in (not bad for a free dinner).

Only bad dealer I've heard of in SoCal is Fletcher Jones in Newport.
