Crappy washer nozzle spray pattern?

Is it normal for the W211 E Class to spray intense singular focal blasts of washer fluid on the windshield instead of a wide spray pattern?

I hate the way my car's is, it barely even manages to give enough coverage for the wipers to effectively clean and leaves dry/dirty hotspot because it's so foccused on two spots per nozzle. Yes, I have new wiper blades.

The nozzles need replaced. That will make a world of difference.

There's no un-evenness or weakness in the spray at all, it's just the pattern isn't widespread like most cars'. It doesn't look like they're clogged or have a lack of flow...

I'll take a pic.

I have the same issue - the service tech at the dealership the other day (buying a new car and they gave a quick check up for free on my DD) said they needed replaced. Also told me the cabin filter and fuel need replaced - and EGR was going.

Do not be so quick to replace nozzles, system is designed to strike windshield as shown in attachment. Try cleaning nozzles with makeshift tool to increase flow.

My problem is that the hose detaches from the nozzle body. Have others had this problem?

Blah. That's exactly how mine strikes the windshield and it sucks in the winter. Most cars spray it in a widespread misting pattern instead of intensely blasting it on four, tiny, focussed spots.

I wonder if I can use the nozzles form a newer C/GLK class...
