Butterfly armrest broken.

Butterfly armrest broken.
The left 'wing' on my butterfly armrest doesn't open when released. Guess the spring came off or broke. The right one works fine. Does anyone know how I can remove the wing for repair - and if there is a replacable or fixable spring in there at all :-) Thanks in advance, Nils.

Are you sure it's the spring. Last time I had that issue, it was caught on something (ie, something was closed in the mechanism). Careful, the wood caps are easy to break off.

Thanks for your reply Boardboy330. Yes I am sure it is the spring as the wing just stays down and must be opened and closed manually. It's completely loose and without any resistance.
