Need to replace Factory subwoofer

Hello, need help, I have a 2003 E-320 RWD
My factor subwoofer that's located under the rear deck behind the seats is blown, there is no access to it from the trunk, I'm guessing I have to remove the rear seats and deck cover to get to it, has anyone done this before?
Help!! Thank you!!!!

You are correct. Remove seat cushion. Remove back cushion. Remove deck cover.

If memory serves, you may have to remove the pillar covers to get the deck cover off. But it's been a while since I did it last so don't quote me on that.

Oh. And headrests. You must remove those too after you remove the seat cushions.
