transmission shredding/kicking
hello , got my hand on a 2003 e500 white benz couple days ago..
everything went fine first days now the tranny starting to shred sometimes while trying to switch gear .. the rpm gauge needles come up and down up down up down like if it acted like it wasnt sure of switching gear or not but if i change gear itself after couple of times of doing that needle thing on the rpm gauge.
its not a big kicking or shredding but , people in the car can feel it..
ive readed alot about the glycol contamination
i just wanted to know is it 100% sure its that? or it could be something else ( i hope so )
cuz i just spent 7k on the car with no warranty nothing , i really hope i wont need to change the tranny next week which ive readed it can cost up to 6k...
wow im so depressive right now beautifull dream starting to become a nightmare
sorry for my bad english im french canadian.

Sorry to hear about your issue. Did you not have your car inspected before purchasing?? Did you buy it from a dealer because if you did you better bring it right back!
It sounds like the transmission is slipping? but the easiest way to find out is to find someone with a Mercedes Star system and have do a proper diagnostic test.
