MBRACE buttons not working. Anyone here subscribe?
So I got MBrace service activated a little over a week ago. And according to the instructions, it shows active in my car. When I start the car, the i and wrench buttons light up red for a few seconds indicating the system is active. But when I press the wrench, i or SOS button, nothing happens. What am I missing?
Oh it's. 2009 E350.

I switched from TeleAid to MBrace when it was introduced. I can tell you that neither service answers the call in any sort of reasonable time, and you don't hear ringing or music or anything until they answer.
The difference between the wrench/I buttons & sos is that SOS indicates to them that it is a higher priority call somehow.

Wanted to update the thread.
Service department took the car in this morning and told me that if it was just a programming issue, mbrace would foot the bill. But if they found the cause to be a defective module or any other part, I would have to pay out of pocket for the diagnosis plus whatever part was bad.
I got a call 6 hours after I dropped it off telling me the car was ready and that they were successful in getting it to work. According to then, they had to get on the phone with mbrace and MBUSA to get a special mbrace activation code, then they coded that code with star to the cars computer to provision the mbrace system. And the activation took. He also noted that they had tried activating it without that code and it would revert back to inactive on its own. So I guess it was a learning curve for them too lol.
Anyhow, even though my car is well out of warranty, because of the actives mbrace subscription, there were no out of pocket costs for me.
