My wife just bought a 2007 E350 yesterday and she is complaining that the lights are very dim on the car. So I want to install xenon bulbs into the already existing projectors.

I know which parts I need to do the HID conversion, mainly the H7 compatible Xenon bulbs, ballasts, and relay. However, my question is regarding any errors associated with running an HID kit on this car. Do I need a can bus module to eliminate any "bulb out" errors? Could someone point me in the right direction to avoid any errors that the car may through by installing xenons into the headlamps.

I will be using this kit from the retrofit source. I have been dealing with them for years so I trust what they sell.
