Telematics cell phone disable

My car had the Telematics cell phone and was broken from the day I purchased the car. About every 15 minutes the radio would cut out and the SOS light would light up for about 5-7 seconds then it would seem that it would go away. I have successfully deleted the system test or error that was causing this.
What I did was change the Fiber Optic routing to not include the telematics system. Then when the system booted, it removed the telephone so it will not run diagnostics or error out. ( I am not exactly sure what it was doing, but the pages I saw online said it was a diagnostics that was causing it)

Hope this helps

please help!!! my telematics controller has no opt flash @ the fiber cable going in or coming out of the controller it self . if I'm right that means that that the controller has not woke up. just some info in the rocker panel behind the drivers door theirs a place to by pass the fiber opts to just down to the needed items. my radio then came on thing god and it sounds great its the har card up grade . so now it works and so does the Cd changer . but i would love the get the phone up and running being i have already got the bluetooth module . i have no idea why theirs no power to the ctl module. i do no that the frog that i got the car from on ebay cut the phone cord at the base on the flood right where it came out so i found one on ebay and installed it. so as i have been trying to sort this all out i took up the false floor in the bottom of the arm rest and there is a plug that has nothing plugged in it. its about 1' wide can some one post a photo of that area or no the part thats missing for that plug . but also what would that have to do with the opt not flashing at that plug ctl
