Stock E350 to AMG
I am not good at finding the right parts and putting everything together, so I am asking the fine members of this forum for some help. With the exception of a replaced grille, I have a bone stock black 2007 E350 with the base 17 inch wheels. I have something that looks like this...
and I want it to look like this...
I'm not going to break the bank doing this, so how would you suggest I proceed? Here are some specific questions...
Also, for those that have done this type of modification, are there any pitfalls I should be aware of?
I know these are a lot of questions and I am sure if I knew exactly what I was looking for, Google would tell me what I need, but I'm just not sure.

You want to look like Fila's car =) He has my favorite E63 on the forums for sure, good guy too. Best thing to do is start with wheels it will make a big difference, you do not need to lower but it will help with the look. To find the complete E63 conversion kit, contact Gary@Suvneer he is the forum sponsor that has complete kits with the AMG facia and bumper. It's the closest thing to a simple package that will include it all. Then you need to get a carbon fiber front lip and paint the grille with the coats of black then clear coat and that will get you really close. He runs 20" wheels on that car.

Yeah painting all of these parts is really expensive I was quoted $700 for the bumper alone if I went with one from Suvneer. It's not cheap, you can use the original mountain hardware but as Fila said it's easily 2-3k.

The only pitfalls I see are having a stiffer ride and LOOKING TOO GOOD.
I have gone a similar route with stock 17s and all but mine doesn't look anywhere as sexy as fila's

Your car would look amazing with a lip (Carlsson style that 09W211 is selling is awesome) and gloss black grille, I'd go for it. Not to copy his style but wow is that a well done E63.
