Need help to remove the alternator w211 amg
Need help.
My alternator seems to have died. Well it sounds like i have two superchargers whining now. So I want to get it out to check everything. My question is has anyone had this same sound and it only ended up being the voltage regulator. I look down there and can't imagine that huge alternator coming out without the whole radiator out if the way. I see a ton of posts about the voltage regulator, but no one I found has the supercharger and pulled the alternator out. If they did they act like it was easy but no instructions
If I missed it, maybe someone can guide me to the post.

I still have to remove the belt to see if the bearing sounds bad.

I will only pull it out if the bearing test goes bad. Based on the noise, I'm sure it isn't just the voltage regulator. Any suggestions if the alternator needs to be replaced would be great. Thanks

If you have access to a lift the job will be somwhat easier----in any event all the lower panels, cooling hoses, belts and fan shroud come off and the alternator comes out from the bottom.
