Analog to digital system upgrade?

Analog to digital system upgrade?
So my questions with this started when I wanted to activate M-Brace in my car. I was told I have the old analog system in my car and would have to switch it over to digital. Im lost there but thats why Im asking. I also can't seem to access some other features that I thought were or should be available. Such as navigation showing up in my instrument cluster. Has anyone had their switched over and if so how did you go about it? The rep with M Brace told me it was no big deal and the stealer would do it for free
. I can't believe that would happen. The stealer told me the complete opposite, its very expense and hard to do, its not worth the time or the money. I have 2004 E55 W211. Any and all input on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks everybody.

There have been several threads on this before, I remember something along the lines of this costing over a grand but I could very well be wrong, I suggest some searching. Not sure if MBrace contract will affect the price of the conversion or if it's included or what. Look at the sticky thread at the top of the W211 forums as well please, that has some good info.
