air dryer for suspension?
I have an '03 E500 with about 60k miles. This seems to happen more and more often. When coming to a stop (getting down to about 20mph) I hear a rumbling groan (that sounds like an air compressor running). Just before I stop (like at about 10mph), I hear a sound that is like a sneeze (very similar to an air dryer purging on a big truck) and then the the groaning stops. My car has the air suspension. Is what I've described related to the air suspension? Since it is happening more and more often, does it indicate a problem? Ideas?
For what it's worth, if I decelerate to the point that I can hear the groan (compressor?) but then re-accelerate back up to speed, I don't hear the sneeze.

I hear the air compressor noise on mine also, sometimes when the car is off and I hit the unlock bottom on the key chain, I think it might have so etching to do with the SBC. First I thought it might be with the suspension but my car dose not have air ride / 4matic, it's the simple struts and springs.
