I just realized that your big cable that one wire is missing... position 13-14 it must be a brown-brown red wire that goes to can b... look my picture of the passengers seat colors in all W211mer is the same about can.. so it's missing.. you have to add a pair wire and add it in your can module.. do you know where it is? This is for recognize the sygnal when you press the buttons to move..if you do this with the 3rd wire in the smaller plug I bet that you will not have a problem.. if you don't have an electric column steering wheel all the wires that you have in the big cable are useless..
Can module is in the side under the carpet of drivers seat and for passengers in behind the plastic corner

You sir are the best! Thank you soooo much for the great help, I got both seats working. Now the only issue I have left is that the passenger seat moving back n forth is opposite. When I move front it goes back when I do back it goes frontOriginally Posted by giannis_33

You are welcome..is there any chance that you have connect the motors opposite?? If yours seats has dynamic and massage function is not difficult to retrofit it also

I didnt even touch the motor, just plugged in all the plugs where the belong and swapped the wires like your picture.
And yes my seats have dynamic and massage, but my stock seats from the e550 didnt have any of that so there are no vaccum lines or anything. Is it possible I can still do retrofit? what would be the steps?

Ohhh yes!!! You have to buy the dynamic pump and reservoir.. if you have these 2 it will be much cheaper to buy after market air tubes(about 8e) and it will play just fine....search on eBay or if you know any place in your country to buy it directly.. in Greece dynamic pump is about 100 to 130e and half for reservoir (used of course)
For the motors if you change the wires to opposite side in the motors it will play fine..it's not right but it will be fine

ok ok but don't I need to sds star system program the dynamic seats after words so they work correctly? And also the massage. And where do I get the wiring power for that because right now if I press the pulse button, no red light shows... so that means no power going to it

Now I have an issue! The car was parked over night and now this morning the battery was completely drained out. This has to be cause of the seats, is there something that else I have to do?

Before did you had the normal pneumatic system?
Before a month I manage to retrofit dynamic system in my car and I didn't do any coding..it was plug and play but I had before the simple pneumatic...
For the wiring is not difficult dynamic pump needs only 4 wiring that I will tell you where they are if you want to try it

For the battery as long as I know is impossible..after a couple of minutes automatically disables the power....when you were trying to retrofit you used a lot your battery when you finally complete it did you go for a walk to charge it?

Yes I drove for about 2 hours before parking it, so that should have been enough time to recharge the battery.Originally Posted by giannis_33

And yes I would be interested in retrofitting the dynamic/massage if its that easy. What parts in detail would I need? Let me know. Thank you.

When I will have time I will sent you some links from my computer to see how dynamic parts are... it is very easy at least in my case that I had pneumatic before
I've heard of seat control modules going bad and killing the battery. FWIW.

I really don't know.. I did that retrofit before a couple of months because I was searching for Tho years and know one knew or say anything about how to succeed that.. so try to I connect it in different fuse that instantly the power was going off if you remove the key... you can try that to check your battery.. normally the seat module if you leave it in the oem place, takes no power after 10minutes..when I saw that I had it in different place I put it in correct and I have no problems.. imagine that I am a taxi driver and all this modification are in my Mercedes taxi.. I use it a lot without any problem

I bought E63 seats to retrofit into my non-AMG CDI.
The issues I encountered.
1. I did not have folding rear seats, so the retrofit would include modifying the carpet, buying additional brackets and rear shelf and cutting out the metal plate. I ended up not doing the rear seats.
2. My front seats already had heated, so the swap was pretty simple. However, keep in mind that the new seats will throw a SRS light because the weight sensors built into the passenger seats needs to be calibrated. So be sure you have a SDS and 100kg of weight with you. There is a special MB tool for this but I just used a tool box and started filling it up until I got to the weight specified per SDS. One of the seat belt buckles were blown. When you get into an accident it fires off the buckle to cinch up the slack if any. So I had to replace one of the buckles from my old seat.
3. The front seats heat wiring is the same so its plug and play. The cooling ventilated / multicontour seats is a whole different can of worms. I have not done this yet, but you will need an new SAM unit, switch plate, wiring harness, air pump, air lines, insulation bits and pieces. Then remove the whole interior to run the airlines and the SDS to code.
So as it sits right now, my E63 seats in my E320 CDI have the heat working. Power functions continue to work. I love the additional bolster support, the nappa leather and the alcantara accents. I would do it again in a heartbeat. However, I am still on the fence for the ventilated and multicontour parts.
