2003 E320 Ground Points

Hello again everyone,

I just recently got my HID kit, and it's not turning on likely due to ground connecter issues. So does anyone know any solid ground points on the 2003 e320 pictures would help. 😃

It's probably not turning on because the system things the bulb is out due to the lower amperage requirements of the HID bulb itself. Look at the sticky thread on this forum where it tells you how to wire a capacitor between the power output from the car and the input on the ballast. I've had the same issue and that was the problem, and no you do not need to wire up a separate relay or anything.

I already am using an HID error canceler/capacitor that seems like its not making any difference so far, and the reason why I have to use a relay harness is because the kit I have is a 55w HID kit.

I have a 55w kit for low beams and 35w for fog without a relay harness - it DOES NOT MAKE A DIFFERENCE. The BOW3 error eliminator/resistor does NOT serve the same purpose as a capacitor which acts as a battery that draws and provides stable current for the ignitors at startup. I had the error eliminators and I thought that was enough but I was having the same exact problem until I followed the tutorial and soldered in capacitor.
