CF front lip/trunk rails

Got this the other day, hoping to install them within a week

and after getting some help from GunMoto I finally got these rails inside my trunk. Here's a bad phone pic.

Used a flat head screwdriver to split open the base. Couldn't find anyone with a hydraulic press so I sent the pieces+a few dollars to GunMoto to bend the metal pieces for me. Got it back in a few days and they just tuck right on the sides of the trunk mat. The trunk mat gets about 2 inches shorter on each side about half way down so I thought that was the best place to put the base of the rails.

hmmm, thanks for the idea! ive been contemplating on that for a while, not on the priority list but it'll come in handy. you reckon a G-clamp can do the trick or is the metal piece that hard to bend?

That little metal piece is sturdy as hell! GunMoto recommended that I use a 20 ton hydraulic press so I'm guessing with a G-clamp you'll still run into some trouble. I was thinking of rolling over it with my car but didn't want to run the risk of flattening it.
