Your favorite car brands?
Kind of a stupid thread because I know some people aren't brand loyalists, and frankly I've only owned a Mercedes, but I was thinking earlier about the top car brands I love and follow the most in the press, and I was wondering what your opinions are! Doesn't have to be something attainable but it can be any brand from Chevy to Lamborghini.
My favorite car manufacturers are:
1. Ferrari
(No doubt here, I really hope to own one in the future, the F12 Berlinetta is by far the most beautiful things I've ever laid eyes on and if I am ever wealthy enough to buy enough Ferraris to even qualify for their future V12 GT Flagship I will be one happy man, as anyone would be. Money buys Ferraris and that buys happiness hahaha. The 458 Speciale is probably the perfect drivers car in the segement. Racing history, exclusivity, it has it all but is definitely a "boutique" market)
2. Mercedes-Benz
(Need I say more? Classy, luxurious, and fast. I've loved my 2 years of ownership and feel such a strong loyalty to the brand, especially looking at the community here on MBWorld and the more recent products AMG has been putting out, especially the SLS AMG Black Series. The CLS63 is my future realistic car, and the 300SL Gullwing is an incredible piece of art)
3. McLaren
(Another Formula 1 inspired company, I think there is a credible argument to be made that the P1 is perhaps one of the finest hypercars in the world at the moment. Also cannot forget their joint venture with Mercedes in the SLR, had the pleasure of being in a 722s last summer and I'm in love)
4. Koenigsegg
(Always loved listening to interviews with von Koenigsegg, and I love how they have a comparatively small operation in Sweden but their philosophies of design and engineering are something special. Infatuated the wide and flat look of their cars. Can't wait for the One:1)

Mercedes. I've owned A Ferrari, and Audi, as well as many Fords, Chevy, and other car brands. Mercedes is top of my list now. How well they are made and hold up is like no other I have encountered.

Out Of Control!!
What if $$ were equal;
A $25K MB vs. $25K other cars
or
a $50K MB vs. $50K other cars
or
a $75K MB vs. other $75K cars
or
A $100K MB vs. other $100K cars?

640i Gran Coupé
Obviously, from my handle, I'm a BMW fan. But this is my newest baby: 2014 911S, full leather, 7-speed manual in Amaranth Red Metallic. Yummmy!

Parts and service cost roughly the same...so why not. Honda makes a killer engine though.

#1. Ferrari. Nothing else even close. I've wanted one since I was 12 years old. Might pull the trigger on one this year if I don't retire.

Nice! Keep it going!
@Beemer_guy, she's a beauty. I love where the newer body styles are going
@Otto That would be incredible, the 360 modenas and the F430s are now in a decent price range and as with all Ferraris, you can still find ones with very low miles.

#1 Mercedes (currently have E500)
#2 Subaru (14 years of wonderful service in a 2000 Outback Limited, now have a 2014)
#3 Chrysler (My 300M has about 200K miles and is still going strong)
The 300M is an amazingly reliable car but it can't hold a candle to the E500 in terms of solid ride. The E500 is quieter at 9 years old than the 300M was brand new.
I take good care of my cars and other than the car that was "killed" by a deer, I usually end up putting 200k+ miles on them before changing out to another car.
