I want to replace the exterior door handle chrome trim pieces with black ones.does anybody make them or can I order them from somewhere?i've been researching online and ebay and can't seem to find any...i toom mine off and plastidipped them but it peels off.

I don't think they come in black. I wrapped the ones on my C63 in black vinyl. Real paint is also an option.

did you take them off or you wraped them while on the car?

On the car. Inserted a trim tool to keep the handle in the open position while I worked on it.

I agree with above. Paint is an option. I wrap vinyl so I am doing mine.

If you do vinyl...buy good material. It will wear better and be easier to install. It will also come off easier when you want a change. Removing cheap vinyl and the adhesive is the worst part. I like Oracal or 3M. Some like Avery...but their lower lines are crap IMO. I prefer 651 as a baseline for Oracal and 1080 for 3M.

If you want to wrap the entire car...that is a different material as well.

I used 3M 1080 gloss black
