The issue with this is that your taste will most likely be different than ours. I like a clean sporty look that views as classy. Others went luxury. To each their own. It's a beautiful car as is though.
well i look to elegance and style, not sporty not classic, im thinking of adding trunk spoilers and rear window spoiler too with a rim such as this? i took these pics from some of this forum users if they dont mind, just want an idea of which one to choose

I own two of those wheels.
The middle are AMG 18" split-spoke probably staggard setup with wider wheels and tires in the back. They were stock on the E55. I run this setup with Michelin PSS in the summer and it's great lots of grip, and firmer than the 16".
The bottom are 16" and came stock on my 06 E320 CDI. The front is polished Aluminum and all the insets are painted; some of my Al has oxidized. These are usually a square setup with the same size wheels and tires all around. I run this with snow tires in the winter. These absorb potholes really well, are more plush ride, cheaper, and give a few MPG increase.
Your pics don't look like the US or somewhere that gets a lot of snow. So I'd opt for the 18" AMG they look better. Search my posts and you'll see pics of mine.
PS - The wheels on your car look like W210 style (older model) so I think either would be an improvement.

In my opinion, adding a trunk spoiler AND a rear window spoiler takes away from the "elegant" look you're going for.
If you want elegant, I'd go for the OEM+ look.
- E55 or E63 Front Conversion with the Carlson lip (all other front lips are either too aggressive or gaudy)
- E55/E63 Side/Rear
- E55/C63/CLS55 Exhaust
- Aftermarket Coilovers or Air Suspension
- OEM 19" CLS Rears (all around) or Titanium SL55 Wheels or some clean 5 spoke wheels

If you really really really want to get noticed, the first thing I would do is have a large ***** painted on the hood with the words "Go for it" stenciled on both sides!!
Plus don't forget to hang one of those large metal *******'s from the rear bumper--FYI that's a great grounding source for any audio enhancements!!

hahahaha! if i had a penny everytime...
OP: it all depends with your taste. not that I dont like stock or AMG wheels but, if you want your car to be stand out, be different...

I say just put 35% tint and leave it the way it is. You're not going to keep this merc forever. And when time comes to get rid of it all those extra accessories you bought wont add to the value of your car.
Btw that's a really nice E-Class.

Get led bulbs for your city/parking lights to match the hid headlights. Many on this forum have had good results with aznoptics bulbs. You can also search for canbus t10 led bulbs on amazon and get them for less there. Kinda hit or miss on the quality though. Get canbus led's for the licence plate and interior bulbs too. The bright white lights looks cleaner than the stock incandescents and will help to update the overall aesthetic of the car.
im thinking one of these, plus would a 17 inch affect the car and its undercarrige because roads here are full of holes, i drive a hyundai sonata as i keep the benz for long roads and weekends cruisings,
thanks

I held out as long as I could, but someone TELLING me that they WANT me to TELL them "what to do"!!!!! What man can resist that!?!? ;-)
Eschewing the esteemed Plutoe's suggestions...
If you live someplace where snow and ice are an issue, consider two sets of wheels. Keep a simple 5 spoke with as few nooks and crannies to collect crap for winter. Either way, 5 spokes, split or not, is pretty sweet.
Also, do not forget to have the windows tinted as dark as is legal in your area. 30% here in Colorado.
Then replace that plain old grill with a 5 fin emblem dealio, and rip the bug catcher/future belt buckle off the hood before some f-tard does, and replace it with a nice star badge.
