Do us all a big favor---there are thousands of supplies on the internet, however by asking your question you obviously havent got the FFI about what you want.

I suggest you spend a month or so reading up(search) on the DAS Xentry system. You will be in a better position to then answer your question yourself and save yourself hundreds of dollars and us bandwidth!!

PS: remember there is no technical support for DAS Xentry system other than MB!!

As you search the threads here you will find at least one person supplying systems who is held in high regard.
(I have not bought mine yet, but will when I find I need it.)

Now just one GL450 with EORP.
To be fair to OP, the information out here on this board is fragmented at best, and doesn't clue the reader in on exactly what to search for.

It would be of great benefit if there were an "scan tool FAQ" sticky in each model thread or a separate sub in the overarching forum structure regarding which scan tools work and which don't, and how to perform basic reading and code clearing on them.

For OP,

Read up on "mb star c3" and then go find it on eBay or alibaba.com.
I get a feeling that's all he wanted, not "go search".

Thanks, exactly what I was looking for. All I really wanted was a reputable place that I could trust. I guess new members, trying to learn, aren't as welcome to post as others. I wouldn't want to waste bandwidth with questions others feel are below them. sorry for the confusion.

You are not alone. I am a long-time member here and the reactions to DAS/Xentry questions make me not want to ask, though I am also interested in picking one up.

There are one or two members here who 9.9 times out of ten have nothing productive to say, although they seem pretty knowledgable. You will soon get used to and learn to live with them, do not take it personal, plenty of people here are nice and truly are willing to lend a helping hand.

FWIW, I got my STAR from Shardul and I am happy with it, you can contact him thru PM.

(putting on flame retardant suit before I post... wishing Shardul had a Sticky thread on this topic)

So.... I've looked around... and now I'm curious about the differences between c3 and c4.

Please state whether you're reply is opinion, experience, or just plain fact

I only have one MB and it does not fail as often (THANK GOD) so to me the wireless capabilities of the C4 had no weight on my choice. I do not mind plugging the system to the car when I need to and the archaic laptop I got with it is fine as well, since it is dedicated to the STAR only.
