WHATS UP GUYS! so i have an 03 w211 e500 and well the problem i have is that I HATE CHROME!!! i wanna paint the chrome impact strips around my car but the shops I've been to in the atlanta area keep telling they don't wanna do it bcuz they're plastic and the paint won't stick it'll eventually peel and chip off.

anyone wanna input some wisdom on this and how i can get those ugly chrome strips black please

BTW, before and after pictures are appreciated... even from folks that DO like chrome.

Buy some 3M 1080 vinyl from ebay and do it yourself. It's easy.

I'm not that good at vinyl and don't have the time or patience to do it myself
