Measuring accurate acceleration on E55 w211
hi all,
last night I had a friend time 0-100kph on my 03 e55 V8 Kompressor and got not so bad results. 4.9s. considering that i'm waiting for the IC pump and the air filters to arrive, i think its not that bad for a 11 yo car.
anyway, it was done via a stop watch, and given the time, it cant be too accurate(especially when every tenth of a second counts).
Can someone advise me any device to hook up to the car computer and give me a real reading of my acceleration...

Check out DashCommand and OBII ELM327. (Wireless for iOS and Bluetooth for Android.) Ebay for the ELM327, and just Google DashCommand for iOS or Android. There is plenty of chatter on Dashcommand here and other similar apps.
