Ok guys lets get this back on topic!
As I am new to the W211 world how hard is it to replace the unit? Reason I ask is because many of the w211 community will be going out of the warranty soon so I bet many will want to try to try to DIY. Is there any star coding needed after the part is replaced?
So glad I don't have to worry about this... I am sure my w211 will have its own wonderful issues to take care of lol

my car had a 8 year warranty from 2003, and i tried all i could to actually at least get some of it on the dealership, and i had the car for two months and service brake notification is on since i bought it, and now actually put it in a garage for sale and that car is amazing but this SBC unit seriously put me off this car,
