Battery Problem

Hello,

A couple of months ago I started getting the red battery light on the dashboard of my 2005 E320. I then replaced the main battery. A day later, the light came back, and with the help of the friendly people on here, it was suggested to replace the auxiliary battery. I did that, and the battery light went away for good. Or so I thought. I was driving today and the light came back on out of nowhere. There's no way I ran down the battery in 2 months. Any ideas?

Thanks.

E320
I learned that Mercedes is really bad with electronics or software. I can't tell what it is but you have to take it to dealers and run digital diagnostics. Every time you change something that has to do with electronics you will get some idiotic message except if it was changed by Mercedes. So i try to stay away from electronics in Mercedes even damn fuses or simple disconnect and reconnect procedure will make some stupid messages to pop out on the dash.

If parked does it go down over night? Dont' forget a charging system problem might be the cause.
