Arrow E55 AMG Mufflers

Hey guys,

For those of you who may be interested in a clean set of E55 AMG mufflers, feel free to check out the thread I've posted in the classifieds section.

I thought I'd create a post here in the Non-AMG W211 section since there are those who want to convert their single or dual OEM muffler setup into an AMG quad setup.

For those of you who aren't familiar with the conversion process, it's a simple swap. As long as... you cut out additional grooves in your existing bumper or simply switch over to an OEM AMG bumper (or replica).

Here is the link...

so are these still available?
will this have a better sound than the stock exhaust?
are any modifications needed to make a quad tip fit?

The sound change is minimal. The only thing you will need to do is cut off the existing mufflers and weld the new ones in place so it will be pretty straight forward. You will need to modify or change your bumper to accommodate the AMG tips.

^ atm I believe you have the dual cut outs for your rear bumper right? you can change your rear bumper to an AMG bumper OR you can simply widen the cut outs to fit 2 tips on each side.

This is a great mod! I just completed it. I did the 2nd cat and reso delete. Then ran 2.5 inch from the pirmary cats to to a crossover and then used the piping that came with the mufflers which was roughly 2.75 and then went up to just about 3 inch and then tapered back down right before the mufflers. Its just slightly louder than it was stock. Which stock the tire noise was louder than the exhaust. Now its a low growl but not obnoxious at all. And most of all looks spectacular and runs even better.

Sorry, but the mufflers are now on MB4GOOD's car.
