E63 is an easier conversion. Tons of info about it here.

E63 is $1100 for a full kit. $100 for plastic parts. $100 for styrafoam bits (not all needed). Then paint.

I will say, I am only running the front and rear bumper. I would run just a front bumper if that is all you want. I have the skirts and I never installed them. Looks fine without it. So there is some flexibility. And there is an IP here who will sell the set or each piece. They are perfect fit.

The E55 parts will be around that if not more before paint.

You might be able to find it in the Classified section of the forum as well. Since there are a lot of members on here that have done the E63 conversion, I usually see a couple floating around on here. I actually have an OEM E55 front bumper, and all the accompanying parts, that I am going to list in a couple of days. I am just waiting for the weekend so I have time to take some pictures.

No sir, you do not need to purchase 'more reinforcements/brackets' they are ALL the same on the W211. You will only need a new grille since the bumper is shaped different on the E63.

While he doesn't have to buy them, this information is not correct. The bracing is different. I would only purchase the plastic parts and not the styrafoam myself if I had to do it again. The nose sticks out further and the plastic portions fill that void. There is a thread around here somewhere with this information. Some stuff needs trimmed to fit while other is too small and needs support.

OP, I like the way the E55 looked at well, but it was too difficult to find when I needed a bumper replacement so I went with Suvneer. Sadly, everyone that pulls up next to me wants to race now.

Here is what I bought when I did the E63 conversion:

Lower bumper reinforcements:
211-885-03-16 center $25
211-885-07-16 left $25
211-885-08-16 right $25

Bumper supports:
211-880-07-03 center $13
211-880-09-03 left $33
211-880-10-03 right $33

Hood latch extended pull
211-887-03-27 $5

Attachment point
211-885-05-16 left $11
211-885-06-16 right $11

Washer cover springs $3
couldn't find the part number

You probably don't need the lower reinforcements, but you will need everything else for E63 conversion.

OP, I have my original E55 bumper just hanging around I'd sell to you for cheap. It's painted 744 brilliant silver.

PM me if interested
