I tried to do some searching on this but I'm not having a lot of luck. Maybe someone can answer if the 07-08 E550 came with the AMG front end? I know there is a Sport package (with dual exhaust I believe). Is that the same package? Are there many of those around? I'd like to get back into owning a Mercedes (previously owned a CLK and 02 E55) but with my 3 and 5 year old kids I'm not sure I need to throw them in an E63 at the moment.

Every E550 I look at though does not have the AMG front end and just looks really boring in my opinion. Just can't bring myself to buy one like that.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

Looking with some expanded criteria on Autotrader I was able to find 1 E550 in the country with an AMG front end. Looks like they do exist, but they are few and far between. Of course with me being in IL and the car in California that doesn't help me much. The search continues!

 

You are correct. They do make them with the AMG Sport bumpers and they are pretty hard to find with the V8. If you search for a V6, you will probably have more luck.

any 07-09 e550 with the AMG sport package has the sport bumpers. I searched high and low to find an 09 e550 4matic. At the time I bought mine, there were only 2 other e550 4matics for sale anywhere online. e350's are much much easier to find.
