AUX INPUT CABLE
Good day! I have the AUX option on my HU...
But i dont have the AUX INPUT female plug on my glove box...
Can someboby please tell me if all i need to do is purchase an AUX cable and plug it at the back of HU or is there more into it than just a simple plug and play. If it is. Can you please tell me the part number for the cable so i can order right away.
Atm im using viseeo for my calls and a crappy fm wireless transmitter for my music. Thanks for any info!

I think I see the aux port in the picture...it's blurry but I think I see a hole in the middle? I might be wrong...if it's not the aux female input home then I would remove the top portion of the glove compartment and find out if there is any existing wiring behind it.

Found this photo ONLINE. This is NOT a photo of my glove. As you can see. I do not have the AUX input in the top middle part...
Ill see if i can open up the top part and see if theres any wire in there, but I highly doubt it. so a part number for the cable would be very helpful.

just like on this link...i know its for the C class but it shows on steps 4 & 5 that a connection for the aux cable is on standby.
I inquired on the link that you sent me and US$50 is the cheapest way to ship it to Sydney. i reckon its a lot better that what the dealer quoted me for an ipod/media interface of AU$595 plus AU$840 installation! I wouldnt have controls over the steering wheel but i guess its better than my current fm wireless transmitter.

Aux cable plugs directly into rear of head unit nothing in between check rear to confirm aux input matches cable recommended before ordering see item 10 here http://www.mercupgrades.com/COMAND-APS+FAQ-faq-10.html
