My car also arrived today :)
Just got back from the dealer to pick up my E500......

I would take more pics but its getting dark here.
First impressions....its very nice and with 20 miles on the odometer no problems...lol. I'm use to our S500s pneumatic doors as I have to remind myself to close the doors harder now on the new E. The Command II is much nicer than our '02 S500. Love the white gauges but wish the digital climate control display is alittle brighter (I kind of like our '01 E320s climate control display better). So far so good!

Once I take better pics...I'll change my sig. Now I just have to make an appointment to get my wood/leather steering wheel installed. I was somewhat hesitant on the Birdseye maple wood when I ordered the car but I do like it now. With our S500 and E320 4matic having Burlwood....the Birdseye is a nice change. Tomorrow.....ZAINO TIME!

Thanks bro... looking forward for the update.... I'll be going to the dealer about the financing of my new car this saturday, so I will find out more about this feature.... These cars are supposed to have this but can't seem to get anyone to absolutly positivly confirm their car has it!!!!(except to one dude from Canada here on the board). Unless of course it's so subtle its not very noticable... But with a (advertised) 90% increase in visability around corners I can't see how anyone could miss having it... Again, nice ride...

Don't get me wrong...the E is sweeet! Now comparing our W210 E with the new W211 E, the W211 feels more solid.

congrats on the car, its looking very nice. i believe the active headlights wotn work when you are parked. Also i tihnk you mentioned that you wish the instrument lights were lit up a bit more. You know the reset button for the odom? well you can turn that knob and it will brighten up the lights on the radio and instrument cluster. I know it works for my c and clk dont know 100% if the E class has that feature. hope that helps
