How do you use hoops in the trunk?

Question How do you use hoops in the trunk?
In my 2007 sedan there are four metal hoops in the trunk of the car:





How do you use those? Do you connect some sort of rubber bands to those hoops in order to keep stuff in place? Are there some special purpose covers/belts for this?

There are mesh cargo nets, sort of like that side pocket you can see in your photos, towards the right side. So a stretch/elastic rectangular net with 4 corner loops could be used here.
