Question How to detect the COMAND navigation program map version?

According to engineering menu, I have a COMAND version 30/2006:

However, I wasn't able to find out the version of the maps used by the navigation program. All I can tell is that maps are stored on a DVD, which is in the DVD drive in the trunk of the car. Navigation program does not work without the DVD. Is there a way to see the map data version? In addition, is there a connection between COMAND software version and maps version, e.g. is it possible that in order to use certain map version, I need to have the COMAND version x? Or are those two completely independent?

Eject the map DVD from the player in the trunk and read the printed material on the DVD.
