'09 E350 new brake pads...typical?
Yesterday, I had the original F&R brake pads replaced at 61K miles. The front rotors (cross-drilled and ventilated; i.e., Sport package) measured 30.4mm; the rear rotors measured only trivial wear.
Are my experiences typical?
FYI-I decided to not replace the front rotors as I think they will last through the new pads' likely life. Comments?

Sensors went off?
The sensors had not gone off...yet.
In March, the front & rear pads were measured by the dealer to be "only 25% remaining". So 6 months and 7K miles later, I decided to have the pads replaced, plus the car was due for an oil/filter change.
Admittedly, I left some remaining pad life "on the table", but I wanted to avoid the prospects of being "forced" to take it in for new pads, etc., in the middle of winter. (When it comes to auto maintenance stuff, I'm an "abundance of caution" guy.)
