2007 E320 Bluetec climate control diagnostic procedures?

Hi, my 2007 E320 Bluetec is having climate control issues (no flow, cold flow only, cold flow when turned off) and has been spotty in the past. There is no rest or economy button on my climate controls (but there is AC on/off) so I haven't been able to figure out how to adapt the climate control diagnostic procedures from other models. I'd like to be able to pull DTC's and want to know if you can look at the various component states (temp, press) like you can in a W210. Does anyone know how this is done for this model?

With mod W211 MB took away the self diagnosing tests included with the AC controller. That leaves you with SOL if you don't have access to the MB diagnostic system DAS Xentry----for get the local hacks

Thanks Plutoe. I guess I'm now at a point where I need to opt in for the DAS or figure out another way. FWIW, I had no or surging flow, then cold flow only. I replaced the heater control valve, fan, and fan control module (the fan used to squeak a lot), and now I have heat, but I can't shut the flow off and can't really choose which ductwork the flow goes through. I only get the sides, rear, and defrost vents. No footwell flow and very little flow through the center console.

As you know the AC controller manages the air distribution via fan speed and flap control.

Additionally please refer to the manual---with cold air you get lots of cold air via the center vents---with warm/hot air that is not the case, most of that type of air is directed towards the driver/passenger.

Sounds like you are starting to form faulty hypothesis's and without the diagnostic tools that's where you start changing parts needlessly, however you can pride yourself on the fact that you have accomplished another DIY.
