Some questions about E-class E350 avantgarde (2008) Service/maintenance
After having a couple of old W202 for the last 5 years I've decided to move up and get something more advanced and new.
6 menthes ago I've purchase the E350 avantgarde 2008 (with 3.5 liter M272 gasoline engine) in a good condition (50K km on the odometer) and well maintained (serviced every 10K km), now I've reached the 60K km on the odometer and i wonder what are the required services. I've the list from "Maintenance Manual 2008_e_non_amg_diesel.pdf" but there are a few things I'm not sure about.
*Currently, the display on the dashboard informed a service will be required in about 3000 km, last service was done at 50K km (10K km ago) but in the Maintenance Manual marked a service every 20K km. the number doesn't add-up...
*Does the value of the km between the service period is set from the outside (using a "STAR" scanner)? in my old W202 it was set according to regions (European, USA and etc... )
*Does my car have the "Flexible Service System"? (the car sub-type is 211.056)
*Is there a way to display/read the status of the gearbox fluid condition?
*When changing the gearbox fluid, does all the fluid drained and changed? (including the fluid in the torque)
*Is there a way for reading useful information about the maintenance using OBD plug? I have a BT plug and TorqueScan for Android.
