Windscreen wiper issue.

It was the usual Russian cold day. -34 C

Windscreen wiper freeze to the windscreen.

When I try to turn them on, they have broken down. I checked the fuse 56 - it was ok.

Dealer solved the problem in 10 minutes. It was the fuse, but they did not tell me which one.

Today, the problem repeated, but because of the huge amount of snow on the windshield. (Turn on it accidentally)

I dont want to pay again for replace the fuse. Which one of the fuses I must check? I already checked F56 - its ok

On the Russian forum, no one could help me.

Pull 56 and reinsert after a while in an attempt to reset – no change, check relay “K” (part 0025421119). If this fails have shop revisit “simply” claiming problem is unresolved.

Question W211 - Automatic Wiper feature malfunction

I have two issues with my windscreen wipers when set to automatic:

1_ When the sun is strong on the windshield, the wipers start going and I have to take it out of 'automatic'. I don't believe there is a solution for this?

2_ as per my topic name, I find that the automatic function stops working, sometimes very often, others not so much (could go days without 'hunging'). When it does stop, it will not react even to the push button for one wipe or full push for windscreen washing. To fix it, I have to turn it to OFF, and back on. Easy fix, but annoying. Any ideas for solutions?

Mine is a 2006 japanese model.

Thanks.
