Installing / Mounting Battery Charger in w211
Hi!
I am farily new on this forum. After doing some searching and not finding
what I was looking for (much like U2...), I decided to start a new thread.
I drive a MB E 280 (w211) from 2006. Since I mostly drive shorter distances
the battery rarely gets fully charged. Due to this I am thinking of installing
or mounting (whatever you say in English) a battery charger in my car that will
charge the battery as soon as the block heater is connected to the outlet
by my parking spot.
I want to do the installing myself, since it seems fairly easy, but I am
wondering if there is anyone else here who has done this themself. And
if there are some instructions for doing the installation.

I am looking to do the same. I have a 2004 E55 that sits all winter, so want to mount a battery maintainer right in the trunk. I use them on my other vehicles that sit; lawn tractor, motorcycles,... and they are great.
Love to also hear off anyone head done this. If not, once I get to it, I will post my setup.
